STORE POLICY

1. Made-to-Order

All items are made to order. Once your order is placed, we begin the bespoke production process in our atelier in the Netherlands. We do not hold stock. Your piece is created especially for you and crafted with the highest attention to detail and quality.

2. Production Time

Each piece takes approximately 4 weeks to produce. This timeline may vary slightly based on the complexity of the design or the number of current orders. You will be notified once your piece is ready for dispatch.

3. Order Changes & Cancellations

You have a 30-minute window after placing your order to make changes or cancel. After that, your order enters production and can no longer be modified or refunded.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in Euros (€), inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and iDEAL. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers.

5. Shipping

We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout. Customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is dispatched.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the made-to-order nature of our garments, we do not accept returns or offer refunds, except in the rare case that your item arrives damaged or defective.
If this happens:

– Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
– Provide a clear description and photos
– We will assess and propose an appropriate solution (repair, remake or refund)

7. Sizing & Fit

Please consult our size guide carefully before placing your order. If in doubt, we encourage you to reach out for advice or request a consultation. Fit adjustments after delivery may be possible at an additional cost.

8. Fabric Swatches

We offer the possibility to request fabric or leather swatches before placing your order. Swatches are sent by post upon request.

9. Product Care

Please handle your garment with care. Detailed care instructions can be found in our FAQ. Materials such as leather, embroidery or denim require specific attention to maintain their beauty and quality.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, texts, images and content on this website are the intellectual property of VAN DER STEEN Couture Studio and may not be reproduced, copied or used without written permission.
